Oh my God! At last someone of global repute has come face to face with our so-called leaders, political elites and supposed ruling class;to tell them the plain and honest truth. This by implication means that from the period of the oil boom till date starting with Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo [rtd], on February 13th 1976 up until Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan in 2013, the money generated from oil has been wasted. What a DISGRACE!!!
Tears rolled down from my eyes when I heard the words of former President Bill Clinton echoing what my late father Chief Gani Fawehinmi SAM, SAN screamed all through his professional life. The Nigerian electorate should wake up in the choice of their leaders in future.
Changing the sequence of leaders, it started with the military which led to democracy of four years and the military once again particularly the eight year rule of Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida [rtd] who recorded $12.8B windfall which disappeared; the silent and quiet embezzlement during the Gen. Abdulsalami Abubakar regime and then transferred back to Gen. Olusegun Obasanjo [rtd] who was elected President and sat down to the business of superb looting. It is now the turn of Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan who is one of the most wasteful and squandering President, who would readily do anything to remain in power.
One party has been ruling all through since democracy was introduced into our political system. That party has been National Party of Nigeria (NPN) which transformed into Social Democratic Party (SDP) which has metamorphosed into the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The PDP is a party of the military, all the Head of States and their respective cabinets are members. All the military contractors who helped these leaders are members. As a result their mission is to grab.
The 2015 election is a special one because it is the poor masses of Nigeria and the few average income Nigerians versus the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
The next election which is coming up in the year 2015 is the first challenge and the final opportunity for Nigerians to gain their nationality, by ridiculing the serving PDP by not allowing the use of money to enable them retain power at the Federal, State and Local Government Levels.
Former President of America Bill Clinton having dropped the hint, is the best advice in a solid direction. It is no longer the job of the critics or the civil society, it is the duty of the masses of Nigeria who usually troop out to vote to start planning how to stop the PDP forever!
Particularly now that Chief Tony Anenih is the Chairman, Board of Trustees of the PDP. With this man in that position and the current President still willing to run in the year 2015, Nigerians would face the worst amount of suffering they have ever experienced in the history of this country.
Chief Tony Anenih is known as Mr. Fix It. His business is with the PDP only. He has no interest in pleasing the yearnings of the poor and poverty stricken masses of our great country.
