In keeping with the vision and mission of the Association of Communication Scholars & Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN) for a decentralized engagement of all communication scholarship and practice stakeholders throughout Nigeria as anchored by teams led by Zonal Vice-Presidents, the South-South Zone is blazing the trail by being the first of the six zones to host the ACSPN Empowerment Series (AES) after nine national editions. The 1st South-South Zone ACSPN Empowerment Series is therefore holding as follows:
