All of a sudden, it doesn’t matter if the President refuses to declare his assets publicly. It doesn’t matter if one dollar is now N230, despite the fact that we were promised it will be $1 to N1. It doesn’t matter if long queues in our fuel station become permanent and fuel sells at N150 per liter in the North and N500 per liter in the East, despite the fact that we were promised that oil prices will be stabilized.
It doesn’t matter if our Chibok girls never return. It does matter if the President goes to Chad and Niger for military help. It does not matter if some suddenly want to sell us arms.
Where are the BBOG activists who were always demonstrating against Jonathan’s Government? Why has Oby Ezekwesili suddenly gone quiet or has she found the Chibok girls? Where are all the CNN, BBC and Al Jazeera crews who made a sensation of Boko Haram killings and quarreled with Doyin Okupe publicly after every Boko Haram attack, despite the fact that Boko Haram are still killing innocent people nearly every day.
The few Ijaw people around GEJ were insulted and abused, but nearly all of the most recent appointments have been Northerners. They called Jonathan clueless but we are seeing those who are now rocket scientists. It doesn’t matter if Government seems grounded with no functional executive council. It doesn’t matter if APC law makers turn the hallowed chambers into a boxing ring, fighting for juicy positions. It doesn’t matter if Nigerians never have electricity despite the fact that APC said they will fix power in record time.
It doesn’t matter if Chief financiers, Tinubu and Amaechi, are denied from reaping electoral dividends. The elections are over but it doesnt matter if Gov. Adams is still on TV campaigning with the so called missing USD20 billion or N3.9 trillion, gone from stolen, missing to now spent by NNPC. What has Adams done in Edo State?
It does not matter if El Rufai is said to own properties worth N90 billion. It doesn’t matter if nothing works in Nigeria, provided Jonathan is not President of Nigeria.
All that matters is that Nigerians are being taken for a ride and that CHANGE has happened!!!
