‘The Wives’ a classic stage play presented by Make It Happen production was a three-day show which kicked off on Thursday October 9, 2014 at Agip Recital Hall Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos.
Guests at the performance included Nigeria’s A-list set Rita Dominic, Olu Jacobs, Patrick Doyle, Wana Udobang, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Noble Igwe, Tunde Kelani, Mocheddah, Omobola Johnson, Titilope Shonuga, Shade Ladipo, Kola Oyeneyin , amongst others.
The intriguing suspense filled play chronicles some of Nollywood’s iconic actors such as Joke Silva, Jide Kosoko, Iretiola Doyle, Kate Henshaw, Toyin Oshinaike, Adebola Williams and Kemi-Lala Akindoju.
“The Wives was a long pending desire and has been fulfilled in three days. I am thankful to God for giving me the vision and strength and also thanking my parents, sponsors, and media partners who promoted this project throwing their weight behind us” said Kemi Lala Akindoju, the producer of the play. “The experience and the turnout has been very rewarding” she added.
The audience was thrilled to a wonderful command performance by multi-talented singer, songwriter and music producer Cobhams Asuquo. The show was anchored by award winning actor, OC Ukeje. The first two days has also enjoyed brilliant musical performances from Femi Leye and Aramide.
The Wives was proudly supported by Africa Magic, Bella Naija, YNaija, 360nobs, Life House, Red Media Africa and TerraKulture.
